Membership

​If we've made a difference in you or a loved one's life, membership is how you can stay involved and support our nonprofit.

NAMI Whatcom is the local affiliate of NAMI, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health advocacy organization. We are a separate 501(c)3 and do not receive financial support from NAMI. Membership dues help NAMI Whatcom provide free programs and support groups, advocate for access to treatment and services, fight stigma through information and awareness-plus provide hope to thousands of people and families In Whatcom County affected by mental health conditions. By becoming a member of NAMI Whatcom you will also become a member of NAMI Washington and NAMI.
Membership dues help support the costs of:
  • 3 employees
  • NAMI Classes (Family-to-Family, Peer-to-Peer, and more)
  • NAMI Support Groups (Connections, Family Support Group)
  • Community Conversations events
  • NAMI In Our Own Voice Presentations
  • NAMI Ending the Silence Presentation
  • Office operations-including NAMI Whatcom Helpline 360-671-4950
  • Outreach efforts
  • Stigma Stomp
  • Library use, Monthly newsletter, ...and a lot more!

Join NAMI Whatcom for $40/year
  • Regular membership: $40/year
  • Household membership: $60/year
  • Open-Door Membership: $5.00
$2.00 processing fee covers secure electronic payments through PayPal.
Donations To  NAMI Whatcom support our Programs 100%.
Membership dues are split between NAMI national, NAMI Washington and NAMI Whatcom, as we all work together to provide services to our communities.
