WRAP for Kids
There are currently no scheduled WRAP for Kids classes scheduled.
WRAP for Kids is a free program designed for children age 7 to 12. WRAP for Kids is a creative and productive outlet for children coping with a mental health concerns, undiagnosed or diagnosed. Children will develop a wellness toolkit that will guide them to identify ways to deal with stress, manage health and how to ask for help. The program is taught by trained teachers who are also the parents or family caregivers of individuals who experienced emotional or behavioral difficulties prior to age 13.
These highly sought after courses are ABSOLUTELY FREE, but teachers ask that participants commit to attending all of the classes.

WRAP is a Wellness Recovery Action Plan, a self-help and recovery technique developed by a group of people who experienced their own difficulties in mental health and worked to develop tools and strategies that could be integrated into their lives for improved well-being. The program was created by Dr. Mary Ellen Copeland, a writer and educator who advocates for people living with mental illness.
